New Website Who Dis?

We're happy to debut this new version of our website which is integrated more fully into the Front9 league management software.
A few things you'll notice as you look around:
Legacy Data
Events from 2025 and most of 2026 that were played on bluegolf are snapshotted in the database so those historical results will still be reachable. The event page for the legacy events will look a little different than the newer events played on Front9.
New Event Page
Starting with Playoff #2, the event page will now carry the list of players in the event (Field), Tee Times, Betting Odds, and the Leaderboards.
Both the betting odds and leaderboard update in real time without refreshing the page. So if you check the betting odds in the middle of an event, you'll see them updating as scores come in.
Note, right now the odds code is making predictions based only on handicaps right now (and scores as they are entered). Once the USGA gives me access to handicap data it will start factoring your scoring history into the odds so your personal variance in your scores will effect the odds.

New Registration Page
Some of you have already used the new registration page to sign up for the past couple events. Before, that was in addition to paying through Shopify. Now the registration and payments are integrated into one page. So you'll register and pay Chad in single step.
Couple features to note. You can pay for someone else, in addition to yourself, if you want. For example, if Connor wants to pay for Beth, he can do so by clicking that add another player button.
Beth will get an email inviting her to RSVP for the event and telling her that Connor paid her registration fee. She still needs RSVP to get into the field (though Chad can just change he registration status manually in the admin panel as well).
When we play team events, you can similarly sign up a team. The first person to register can invite (and optionally pay for) other players to join his team. Those players get email invites with a link to register, pay, and join the team.
Selecting a team is also optional as Chad can just set the teams manually.

Account Credits
Previously when you earned money through skins Chad would give you a promo code to enter in the Shopify checkout. Now he'll just add a credit on your account that you can use at checkout.
That right side panel in the checkout will show any account credits you have and ask you if you want to apply them when checking out.
If you have any unused promo codes Chad's going to have to migrate them over to account credits in Front9.
We Have a New World Number One
The World Golf Rankings are now using an updated algorithm that more closely resembles the Official World Golf Rankings. It works as follows:
- You are ranked over a two year rolling window.
- A minimum of six events over those two years are needed to make the rankings.
- A maximum of 16 events will count towards your ranking. If you play more than 16 events your worst performances are dropped.
- Events played in the last three months receive full weighting. Events older than three months depreciate linearly.
- Your ranking is determined by your average points earned. Not total points. So playing more doesn't necessarily bump you higher.
- Same as before, we use a 60% handicap allowance for the purpose of ranking players for WGR. This is to encourage you to get better.

Lots of Stats
If you visit your dashboard on front9.com you can find a stats page on the sidebar. Front9 compiles stats from all your competitive rounds you play in the system and aggregates them there for you.

If anything isn't working quite right let us hear about it!
