4th best course in the State, Bretwood CC
This is a sneaky pick for me here, I think Bretwood is just one of those courses that is always worth the trip and I am never disappointed. These courses are set up to be able to give the average golfer some birdie looks, but you can also put up some high numbers just as easy. This course is well worth the value too, I believe for all day play with a cart its roughly $75 on the weekends so if you are going to make the trip make sure you play both tracks, and make a day of it.
Our lush, superbly maintained 36 holes play along the picturesque Ashuelot River, which lazily meanders its way through the two courses.
Four sets of tees, large Penncross bentgrass greens protected by strategic bunkering and mounds, generous and gently rolling fairways, many elevation changes, lots of water and the ever-present wind combine to make Bretwood a favorite of recreational and competitive golfers alike.
“We take great pride in extending our invitation to you to play two of the finest, most challenging and best maintained public golf courses in the Northeast. Large and small groups are certainly always welcome.”
