Joe Frechette calmly takes down First NH Major of the year

This past weekend saw our first Major of the year and yet again another new winner as Joe Frechette who was playing as a 14 absolutely tore through the front. After doubling 1, he went on to get back to even par with an Eagle on 2. Frechette then Bogey’d a tough 3 and 4 before getting back on the birdie train on 5, and 6. The birdie on the short par 3 6th was just a tap in for Joe as he put his Tee shot within 15 inches. The following group playing behind the champ saw Paul Micali who put one even closer for a tap in birdie and earned himself a skin.

Frechette went on to to birdie 10 to get back to even par through 10. With knowledge that he may have a comfortable lead Frechette took his foot of the gas pedal a bit, and Bogeyed 5 of the next 8 holes on his way to a 43 side to card himself an 80 Net 66.

Pat Blair who came in 2nd had a great day, and is coming back to form. With a hole out on hole #6 for a Gross eagle and some other great holes throughout the day Pat Blair was able to take over $100 in our skins competition and grab a shit ton of points to move up quite a bit in the season long standings.
