Mass Opener Preview and Predictions

flyovers (6)

Tomorrow is a huge day in the Live Free Golf world as Mass will finally have it’s official individual state opener, and we are fortunate to have it such a beautiful track as Waverly Oaks. The field of 28 will embark into Plymouth with the eyes on the prize(s) and the dreams of shooting the best round of their lives.

John Sneade who won the CTP and Long drive like an absolute stud will look to shoot a great round there again and hope that the winning score stays in the single digits and can put himself in contention.

New Hampshire will have a handful of players making the trip including Jon Watkins who earned his LFG Card today by getting in contact with me and asking to play. He jumped right in and signed up for a full weekend of golf and coming in as an 8.1 cap could go shoot a round in the 70’s and take top honors. Tom Boland who shot well at Red Tail will hopefully be able to control his driver and give himself short irons into these greens and hopefully make some putts.

Impact Fire champion Pat Young returns to action and will hopefully give the rest of us a chance and not shoot the best round of his life again to blow away the field. Pat tees off first, and we hope to have a nice gallery standing right behind him analyzing his moves and hoping the best for him through his round tomorrow. Let’s see how he handles having the bullseye on his back.

Goodluck to everyone tomorrow, and as always we appreciate you guys coming out!! The weather looks great and the course is going to be in perfect condition so tomorrow is shaping up to be another great day of golf for us. #SHOOTYOURBEST

Presidents Prediction: Craig Stewart 86/69
